Sharon And Jacob's wedding was the first wedding that I helped handle all of the floral pieces, from concept to construction, to day-of set-up. Sharon was an incredible do-it-yourselfer and I think it took some convincing from Jacob to let someone else handle the production day-of. They were a family friend of the owner of the Epicure Florist but the bride and I made a connection right from the start. She made some really incredible pieces for her wedding and we just helped to get them set-up. I borrowed my boyfriend for the event and he was so helpful! At one point he was sawing the birch poles for the chuppah, shirtless, while Sharon and Jacob's friends watched on laughing. She assigned a couple of groomsmen to help us that day as well. I've included that photo of my boys helping, can you tell which one it is?
Sharon's bouquet was hydrangea, ranunculus, garden roses, some greens and branches I repurposed from our garden, and lovely scented stock. We used the same flowers in the small vase arrangements scattered throughout the reception. I hope you enjoy the photos. You can see the video of the event: here.
Oh, and it was also featured on Style Me Pretty and you can see the original post here.
